Barcelona is one of the most beautiful cities in the world from the air. The layout of its grid-patterned neighbourhoods, sliced through by Avenida Diagonal, is a wonderful site to behold. What’s more, the view from above gives you a different take on the city’s most famous features like the Sagrada Familia, Torre Agbar and Tibidabo.
Many tourists take the opportunity to marvel at the views, snap photos from above and get a thrill from the helicopter flight. This could be you, and all much cheaper than you think, as World Experience gives you the chance to experience this adventure at an affordable price.
Below, we introduce our two best tours for seeing Barcelona from above in a helicopter. The second tour is a favourite with our customers as it includes a helicopter flight, a boat trip and a walking tour of the old town.
Helicopter flight over Barcelona’s coastline (€79)
At World Experience we give you the chance to see Barcelona from above for less than 80 euros, whereas other companies will charge over €100. This is our helicopter flight over Barcelona’s coastline which offers 6 minutes of panoramic views of the coast.
This journey, with a maximum capacity of 4 people, leaves from Barcelona’s heliport. From there, we will ascend into the sky and enjoy the incredible views of the city from the air.
On one side, the immense Mediterranean Sea, which sometimes offers you the clear conditions to see Mallorca on the horizon.
On the other, the city of Barcelona in the foreground with the Mapfre tower and Hotel W in the shape of a sail, whilst further on stands the Sagrada Familia and, in the background, the Collserola mountain. A great example of how Barcelona is ideally located between the sea and the mountain.
360º Barcelona SkyWalk: Old town walking tour, helicopter flight and boat trip (€108)
Our second tour, the 360º Barcelona Skywalk tour, shows you Barcelona from the air, sea and land. This is a unique and affordable experience, as it includes a walking tour, a boat trip and a helicopter flight.
The journey starts off with a guided tour of the old town, passing by the Cathedral, the Plaza Sant Jaume and the church of Santa Maria del Pi, among other hidden corners. Followed by the famous Las Ramblas with its famous Mercado de la Boqueria and Plaza Real.
At the end of Las Ramblas is the Mediterranean Sea, with the Columbus monument presiding over it. We will then pass by the maritime front by boat and finally go up in the helicopter to enjoy the magnificent views from the sky.
The tour will last about 4 hours in total and is available in English, German, French and Spanish.
Barcelona view from above for much less than you were expecting!
