By 08:00 I can no longer force myself to sleep. The bus continues its course down a relatively straight highway. We've no idea where we are.

The bus arrives into Mexico City at 10:00, a couple of hours earlier than expected. We set off in taxi. After being away, Mexico City looks a whole lot dirtier and generally unpleasant than we remember!
